The 2nd Daxing Dragon Boat Race started in Niantan park on June 5, attracting 16 teams and enthusiastic spectators all along the lakeside.

There were teams from townships, including Panggezhuang and Weishanzhuang, enterprises as well as teams organized by enthusiasts. After nearly three hours of competition, the winning teams won prizes and certificates.

Before the competition, the players were full of confidence. Officials of Daxing District Sports Bureau said that the government has upgraded the track, floating platform, floating balls and other competition facilities. The digital logo was more eye-catching, and the whole process was clearly visible. The terminal timepiece was strictly built in accordance with national competition standards to ensure accurate timing.

Daxing carried out cultural activities such as "Dragon Boat Festival Boating", "Dragon Boat Festival Zongzi ",  Dragon Boat Festival Reading" and "Healthy Dragon Boat Festival". 

A series of Dragon Boat Festival activities were held. The world rose theme park activity was held at Weishanzhuang township. Caiyu township organized the walking activities. Xihongmen township held a reading event to commemorate Quyuan and inherit the Dragon Boat Festival culture.
