Lihua village, which has been recognized as one of the “most beautiful villages in Beijing” and a “village with the most characteristic gourmet”, is located in the southwestern section of Panggezhuang town and the east bank of Yongding river. It covers an area of 5,400 mu (360 hectares), and is more than 30 kilometers away from downtown Beijing and ten kilometers from the Beijing Daxing International Airport.

Lihua village boasts more than 30 thousand century-old pear trees, attracting hordes of visitors during the spring and autumn.

The village, a model village in Panggezhuang town for beautiful village construction, has relied on its rich agricultural resources to boost rural tourism over the years.

Pear trees dating back more than 100 years still grow well in Panggezhuang. With the town not only producing the capital's best watermelons, its local government also develops tourism based on pear-related products.
