The second "Happy Guanyin Temple Cup" original dancing competition was successfully held in the Guanyinsi community of Daxing district on Nov 20.

A total of 17 community dancing teams gave wonderful dancing performances to the audience, on the theme of "dancing in a new era and building a civilized city together".

The dancing programs included "My Motherland and Me", "Bless You, Prosperous China", "Toasting Song", "China Backbone", and "National Rhyme".

The aim of the dancing competition is to enrich the spiritual and cultural life of residents, cultivate cultural awareness, bring people together, and encourage them to help each other and learn from each other.

The dance "Toasting Song" won the first prize, followed by "National Rhyme" and "China Backbone" winning the second prize.

Ten residents in the community were awarded the title of role models in the new era. Qi Kai, head of the Guanyinsi community publicity department, presented awards to the winners.
