Daxing grape festival returns

The town have been cultivated grapes for hundreds of years. The high-quality fruits, with high sugar content and good taste, are divided into more than 50 varieties.

Every autumn from August to October, it has become a good resort for leisure and recreation. Tourists are allowed to experience the joy of picking and plucking in various characteristic vineyards.

Other fruits are also welcome, such as figs, white apricots, milk strawberries and Fengshui pears. Meanwhile, tourists can also taste the famed snacks including hawthorn cakes and creak boxes, and experience black pottery and engraving culture.

In addition, the local government presented flowers and sincere blessings to the representatives from all walks of life who made contributions in fighting the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, resuming work and production, and the town's development.

Founded in 1999, the Caiyu Economic and Technological Development Zone has been home to a total of 329 firms, including 25 regulated and 18 high-tech enterprises. The grape festival is deemed as a combination of local ecological advantages and industrial park development.
