Beijing's Daxing district held a gathering for the hydrogen energy industry on July 8, attracting more than 100 experts and business people to discuss energy transformation under the trend of carbon neutrality and the opportunities and challenges China will face in this sector.

At the event, the first batch of 24 enterprises settling in the Daxing International Hydrogen Energy Demonstration Zone attended the award ceremony, and four other enterprises signed contracts with the district.

An innovation and entrepreneurship competition was also launched to link global high-quality resources and promote the incubation of projects.

A new growth engine in the southern part of the capital, Daxing has collected leading companies to accelerate the construction of the hydrogen-energy industrial ecosystem, taking the lead in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei city cluster and driving the area's green development.
