The Daxing International Hydrogen Energy Demonstration Area (DIHEDA), covering 208,000 square meters, is adjacent to Beijing Daxing International Airport and the Southern Beijing Logistics Base.

The DIHEDA has been planned with a capacity to drive the development of surrounding areas within a radius of two kilometers. It is aimed at utilizing the resources of the Beijing Tsinghua Industrial R&D Institute to build an ecological system supplemented with funds, enterprise alliances, policy support and test sites.

So far, the northern section of the DIHEDA has been put into use. Over 30 industrial giants, including Beijing SinoHytec Co, a leading domestic manufacturer of fuel cell systems, have established a presence in the area.

The demonstration area has maintained contact with over 360 projects, 139 of which have already registered branches there.

Two coffee shops have already started business to meet the demand of local enterprises and their employees. In addition, the DIHEDA has set up a one-stop service center, coffee-reading venues, a dining center, the Mindlax hotel and the iGTM fitness center to satisfy the various needs of local residents.
