A calligraphy, painting and photography exhibition was launched in the Shuyong Museum of Modern Art in Beijing's Daxing district on Sept 27, to greet the convocation of the upcoming 20th CPC National Congress.

The themed exhibition has received huge support from all units and individuals in the united work front sector in Daxing, and has collected a large number of artistic products in the categories of Chinese paintings, oil paintings, craftwork paintings, calligraphy and photography.

All exhibited pieces show the historic achievements and transformation of Daxing over the decades, demonstrate the sense of gain, happiness and security among the people, review the glorious progress of the united front work over the last century, and convey the sincere wishes of the district to national prosperity.

During the activity, Shu Yong, a contemporary artist, shared unique facts and artistic skills with attending guests.

In addition, over 100 artistic workers, who were of different ages and involved in the united front work, made their impromptu creations at exhibition venues.

The exhibition, held online and offline, will select 100 pieces of high-quality artistic products among exhibited entries before its conclusion in late October.
