The conference on Regional Opportunities for Finish Businesses in Daxing was held in Beijing Daxing International Airport Economic Zone (BDIAEZ) on Nov 17.

The "European-China Innovation Center" was unveiled during the event. With complex functions of display, communication, incubation and services, it is poised to become the capital's new platform for international business exchanges.

"The BDIAEZ will carry out precise measurements to improve the business environment for foreign investment and deepen cooperation with European countries in trade, investment, technology, environmental protection, culture and tourism," said the management committee of the BDIAEZ.

Up to now, the number of registered enterprises in the airport economic zone (Beijing part) has reached 3,680, including more than 10 Fortune 500 companies and over 60 foreign-funded enterprises.

During the meeting, about 20 Finish companies conducted targeted exchanges with Daxing company representatives, both online and in person.

The event was supported by the Embassy of Finland in China, Business Finland, the Beijing Finnish Chamber of Commerce, the Torch Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Beijing Investment Promotion Service Center.
