On Jan 10, Beijing time, the China Night· International Biomedical Innovation Project Roadshow was held online and in person simultaneously in San Francisco, and Beijing's Daxing district, as a warm-up of the 41st J.P.Morgan Healthcare Conference.

During the event, the Beijing Daxing International Airport Economic Zone promoted its industrial strengths in life and health at the main venue located at Pier 9 in San Francisco. This is the first time that the airport area has made an appearance at the "JPMorgan Week" global roadshow.

The Beijing sub-venue gathered a number of enterprises from the biomedical industry. Representatives of six projects were selected to give presentations in turn. The area held a signing ceremony with six enterprise partners in human resources, investment and financing services, which facilitate the building of a complete industrial ecology.

In order to boost its life and health industry, Daxing airport area launched a $1.57 billion fund, and introduced policies to support private equity funds. An industry carrier covering about 400,000 square meters is also on the drawing board, according to a person in charge.

As of now, Daxing airport area is home to more than 200 life and health enterprises. They are engaged in international medical services, the research of biomedicine and high-end devices, and the building of a biomedical incubator in the comprehensive bonded zone, in efforts to achieve the integrated development of medical services, medical research and the pharmaceutical industry.
