Beijing Daxing International Airport Economic Zone (Daxing) signed cooperative deals with 27 enterprises on Feb 10.

The signing ceremony brought together those involved in life & health, aerospace, information technology, human resources, corporate services, education and new energy.

The US Premier Research (Shanghai) Co, which is a multinational clinical research company dedicated to adopting bio-medicine technologies to improve public life and health, attended the event.

During the ceremony, the area presented certificates of appointment to seven people as its investment promotion ambassadors.

Meanwhile, Ahmadzai Abdul Wahed, an entrepreneur from Afghanistan, was appointed as chief service officer for the international innovation center to provide foreign-invested companies with comprehensive services in their license registration and business development.

The newly appointed chief service officers and investment promotion ambassadors are expected to make full use of their own advantages and attract more high-quality enterprises and talents to the airport area.

During the ceremony, Daxing airport area also released 21 available land parcels and 18 specific projects for prospective investment, which cover residential building, commerce, industrial and logistics purposes.

As of now, Daxing airport area is home to 4,604 enterprises, including 84 foreign companies and over 20 Fortune Global 500 firms.
