The transformation of Qingyundian gas station in Beijing's Daxing district was completed on Mar 31. The district spent eight months installing hydrogenation equipment and facilities to promote the application of fuel cell vehicles.

The integrated gas and hydrogenation station, with a maximum hydrogen storage capacity of 721.5kg, is designed to provide 1,000kg of 35MPa hydrogen per day.

It has 35MPa double-gun hydrogen dispensers, a discharge column, and two 45MPa compressors with supporting chillers, which can compress 41.6 kg of hydrogen per hour on average. There is also a set of 12-cubic meter 45MPa bottles, with a hydrogen storage capacity of about 346.5 kg.

In recent years, Daxing's hydrogen energy industry has developed rapidly, gathering enterprises across the entire industrial chain of hydrogen energy production, storage, transportation, processing, and usage.

As of now, a total of 577 fuel cell vehicles have been promoted, including tourist buses, trucks, cargo vans and sanitation cars.

Accordingly, Daxing district plans to build two more gas and hydrogen stations and two pure hydrogen stations this year, and no less than 10 hydrogenation stations by the end of 2025.
